Bonnie
Saturday 18th December 2021 was the day my husband, my son and I lost a piece of ourselves. The day my beautiful daughter Bonnie passed away unexpectedly aged 4.
After a short illness, still unknown, she took her last breath and life as we knew it would never be the same again.
Bonnie was our rainbow baby, a cheeky, vibrant, amazing little girl with lots of friends and surrounded by people that adored her. She was full of sass and lit up a room, everyone knew when Bonnie was around and could be heard giggling away all the time.
It’s been 2 years now that we’ve had to live without her, with forever to go.
Losing a loved one means creating a new ‘normal’, living with grief in the background of everything you do. From a smell, to a tv programme, to a place or a person, they never leave you.
We are so blessed to have been offered support through EACH hospices, without them we wouldn’t know how to handle our emotions the way we do now. I hope that when you burn this wax melt you will think of your loved ones and use this smell going forward to take 5 minutes to acknowledge your grief, full of joyful memories.
Life after loss is difficult, unfair and a battle, with mental health deteriorating, with good days and bad. But you are not alone in your grief. I’ve learnt over time that grief is just love with nowhere to go.
A percent of each sale will be sent to the hospice that helped to support Lauren and her family
To anyone else who has lost a child I send my full heartfelt love to you and hope this will help show some comfort even a little
