I have been wanting to wean off codeine for a long time now. 

It all started when I went from 8mg to needing 30mg and when I went to the doctor to say I need stronger again, he told me the only option was morphine or Tramadol!  So more meds that I know have terrible side effects.  

This was when I knew I had to find another way to manage my chronic pain. 

I had seen a lot of CBD hype but like most of us with chronic illness I was terrified it was just that, hype.  I have wasted so much time and money trying all kinds of things.  But at this point I was willing to try anything.  I don't have to cure myself, just take the edge off!
